Amid links with a move to Nottingham Forest, Youssouf Fofana (24) was present in training at AS Monaco’s performance centre this morning.
The France international trained as normal with the squad, despite reports of ongoing talks with Nottingham Forest. According to The Athletic, Les Monégasques are prepared to accept the Premier League side’s €35m offer, and the player’s representatives are in talks with Nottingham Forest over the move.
New signings Denis Zakaria and Wilfried Singo were also present, however, Mohammed Salisu, who joined from Southampton earlier in the summer, is still not up to speed and is not training with the first team currently. In a session, attended by Get French Football News, Myron Boadu, Gelson Martins and Guillermo Maripán were also absent. Given the absences of Maripán and Salisu in defence, there is a chance that Singo could make his debut against RC Strasbourg Alsace on Sunday, despite his transfer only being completed on Thursday.
