According to The Athletic, AS Monaco are prepared to accept Nottingham Forest’s offer for Youssouf Fofana (24). The offer is reportedly worth €35m.
Axel Disasi and Fofana were both expected to leave this summer. The former has already made a move to the Premier League, is the latter now set to follow suit? Monaco are prepared to accept Nottingham Forest’s €35m offer for the France international midfielder.
The Premier League side must convince the player of the move. RMC Sport previously revealed that Fofana was completely uninterested in a move to Nottingham Forest. However, with the transfer window nearing an end, and with the number of interested parties not plentiful, Fofana’s representatives are now in talks with Forest. Other clubs are closely monitoring the situation, according to The Athletic. Should Fofana leave Les Monégasques, his replacement has already been found. Denis Zakaria, who spent last season on loan at Chelsea, joined on a five-year deal from Juventus earlier this week.
