Thomas Müller, by contrast, should be ready to go.
“The Harry Kane effect will not fizzle out,” Tuchel, among other things, said on Thursday, “the Harry Kane effect works on so many levels; in the effect in the dressing room, in the effect on the pitch, in the effect of his personality, his professionalism, his matter-of-factness. How humble he trains and how diligently he prepares on the day after the game.”
Tuchel did disclose some other personnel details during the media round. Supercup starter Serge Gnabry and right-back Noussair Mazraoui (who played the second half) are carrying knocks. Tuchel listed them both as questionable. Benjamin Pavard looks to be set for a 90-minute-shift at right back after, Tuchel also noted, Bouna Sarr was questionable as well.
In a spot of good news, Tuchel noted that Thomas Müller should be ready go after shaking off hip problems and training with the team normally over the last ten days. Tuchel did not disclose whether or not Müller was fit enough to start ahead of Jamal Musiala in the ten-slot.
