Former Serie A champions Inter are keeping an eye on the situation of Bayern Munich striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.
The Nerazzurri continue to hunt for a new striker this summer and La Gazzetta dello Sport state today that in the last few hours, Harry Kane’s arrival at Bayern Munich means that Choupo-Moting’s situation at the Bavarian club has become uncertain and Inter are now interested in the player.
As things stand, there is interest in both Marko Arnautovic and Mehdi Taremi but the issue that holds Inter back from the Iran international is the fact that he will play in the Asian Cup. Contacts were held with intermediaries for the Porto man but the Asian Cup issue is currently making Inter ponder their options. As a result, Arnautovic is a leading candidate on the shortlist. As things stand though, there is a gap between the valuation set by Bologna and how much Inter want to pay.
