Salernitana have enquired about signing Leeds United defender Leo Hjelde, but a move is not possible right now after Junior Firpo’s injury.
The Serie A team is interested in signing the 19-year-old to serve as a backup option for Domagoj Bradaric, according to the Italian news outlet Cronache.

Firpo is set to be out with injury for a month and Leeds don’t have another natural left-back in the squad. The 19-year-old Hjelde started the opening EFL Championship match against Cardiff.
