Nice predicted XI v Lille: Jérémie Boga and Morgan Sanson set for debuts, Kasper Schmeichel absent

Jérémie Boga and Morgan Sanson are set to make their OGC Nice debuts in this evening’s Ligue 1 curtain-raiser against Lille OSC. 

Kasper Schmeichel has been left out of the squad altogether. The Danish goalkeeper was set to lose his number one jersey to Marcin Bulka, and it has been reported by Foot Mercato that the former Leicester City shot-stopper wouldn’t feature again for the club until his future was resolved. 

Nice have almost a full squad to pick from. Alexis Claude-Maurice, who is set to be given a second lease of life at Nice following a successful loan spell at RC Lens last season. He will be absent against Lille, but his injury isn’t expected to sideline him for long. Hicham Boudouai may not yet be fit enough to start.
