Sports Zone are reporting that Everton have submitted a verbal offer to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s Hugo Ekitiké (21). West Ham United are also interested in the French forward.
The French publication report that Everton’s opening offer is worth €35m plus €5m in bonuses. Ekitiké’s loan move from Stade de Reims was only officially made permanent this summer. PSG paid nearly €30m for the forward after a difficult debut campaign at the Parc des Princes, during which he scored just four goals in 32 games.
According to Sports Zone, PSG are looking to include Ekitiké in a deal to sign Randal Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt, but the Bundesliga side are prioritising a move for Montpellier forward Elye Wahi. Montpellier’s France U21 international is also being coveted by Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.
West Ham United are also interested in making a move for Ekitiké, following Gianluca Scamacca’s departure. After just one season at the London Stadium, the Italian forward has made a return to Serie A.
