Fabrice Hawkins of RMC reports that PSG have been offered the chance to sign Barcelona and Spain international attacker Ansu Fati this summer.
However, Paris, who are in the process of completing a move to sign France international Ousmane Dembélé from Barcelona, turned down the chance to bid for the 20-year-old, who has suffered from extensive injuries over recent seasons.
Instead, PSG are focusing on two other signings in forward areas: an unnamed attacker and Lyon’s breakout youngster, Bradley Barcola. Reports in France suggest Lyon are holding out for a €50m offer from PSG before they allow the 20-year-old to leave Parc OL, with Manchester City also reportedly interested in the player.
For his part, Fati would like to stay at Barcelona, having emerged from the club’s famed academy, La Masia, and fight for more playing time, even though he has been on the fringes of the first team even when fit of late.
