Manchester United are now facing a threat to their chase for Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat as Juventus are keen on the Morocco international.
United are yet to move for the midfielder, with La Gazzetta dello Sport stating today that the move is currently stalled. While Amrabat currently looking towards United as his preference, the club haven’t moved concretely for him despite their keen interest.
Juventus though, have been keeping tabs on him for a long time well before he starred in the FIFA World Cup. The option to sign Franck Kessie has now passed as the Ivorian heads to the Middle East, meaning that Amrabat has become a concrete option. During Juve’s initial loan move involving Arthur, the contacts with Fiorentina opened and there is a possibility that the clubs spoke about Amrabat.
Fiorentina value the player at €25 million plus bonuses, which United have failed to meet and it remains to be seen if the Bianconeri meet that value.
