Bayern Munich have this afternoon submitted a new offer to Tottenham Hotspur for Harry Kane.
As reported exclusively by Florian Plettenberg, Bayern’s latest offer surpasses €100m including bonuses. Club bosses expect a reply from Tottenham, who set Bayern a deadline of midnight tonight, in the coming hours.
This latest approach comes after CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen and technical director Marco Neppe were in London to conduct further negotiations with Spurs’ Daniel Levy on Monday. Although no agreement was reached then, the relationship between both parties remained positive and Bayern are optimistic that they’ll get Kane, who is in the final year of his contract.
Tottenham have previously rejected an offer of around €70m plus add-ons and it has previously been reported that the club wants closer to €100m, but Bayern Munich have remained consistent in their efforts to sign Kane.
Once a transfer fee has been agreed then the deal will likely be completed. Kane wants to move to Munich and has already agreed personal terms with the club.
