According to Foot Mercato, FC Nantes are highly interested in loaning Arsenal winger Marquinhos (20) for the coming season.
Having joined Arsenal from São Paulo for €3.5m last summer, the Brazilian youth international made six appearances for the Gunners, scoring once, before being loaned out to Championship side Norwich in January. During his time with the Canaries, he played 11 times, scoring once and registering one assist.
Marquinhos could now be set to trade the Canaries for Les Canaris, according to Foot Mercato. The French publication reports that Nantes, who last season only narrowly avoided relegation on the last day of the season, are ready to make a move for the winger. The club are looking to strengthen their forward line having already lost Andy Delort and, more importantly, Ludovic Blas, this summer.
Nantes would want to loan the Arsenal winger. Meanwhile, Les Canaris are looking to conclude a deal for Turkish winger Yunus Akgün (23).
