Sadio Mané is officially no longer an FC Bayern player. The Senegalese attacker joins AL Nassr in Saudi Arabia.

Sadio Mané’s transfer from Bayern Munich to Al Nassr is now official.

The Senegal international makes the switch to the Saudi Arabian side on a permanent basis for a reported fee of around €30 million including bonuses.

“We want to thank Sadio Mané for the past season. It certainly wasn’t an easy year for him, suffering an injury just before the World Cup and missing out on participation with Senegal, whom he had led to their AFCON triumph and World Cup qualification,” said Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen.

Due to the long injury, he wasn’t able to contribute as much to FC Bayern as we and he himself had hoped. That’s why we decided together that he should start a new chapter in his career and make a fresh start at another club.

“We wish him all the best and every success for the coming challenges at Al Nassr.”
