Youssef En-Nesyri’s valuation has skyrocketed after several successful seasons with Sevilla and a huge offer from Al Hilal has tempted the club into selling the striker.
According to Estadio Deportivo, Juventus initially saw him as a replacement for Dusan Vlahovic, but now prioritise retaining the Serbian player. Italian champions Napoli were considering a replacement for Victor Osimhen but decided to renew his contract instead. None of the potential suitors expected to pay more than €40m for En-Nesyri.
It was believed that a Middle East bid could help solve Sevilla’s cash needs by selling the Morocco international, however, the €45m offered by Al Hilal doesn’t seem as attractive anymore.
The striker market’s lack of movement contributes to the difficulty of finding a replacement for En-Nesyri. Sporting director Víctor Orta must secure a suitable replacement even before selling him, as any potential player would come at a premium price due to the inflated market conditions.
