Although Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in bringing him back to Ligue 1 this summer, Napoli striker Victor Osimhen could instead become the latest star to move to Saudi Arabia, as part of the Gulf state’s lucrative offensive on European football this summer.
According to L’Équipe today, the Serie A champions have turned down two bids from Al-Hilal for the Nigerian international – the first worth €120m, and the second rising to €140m.
The 24-year-old, who scored 31 goals in all competitions last season, has been in talks with the Saudi club’s representatives. Napoli are expecting an even higher sum to part ways with their top scorer last season, all the while hoping that he could also extend his contract in Campania.
After making the two offers in the past few hours, though, Al-Hilal – who earlier this month were unsuccessful in their attempts to bring in Kylian Mbppé – are expected to send in a third bid imminently.
