Roma are now waiting in the wings to have a new meeting with Paris Saint-Germain to potentially close their move for Renato Sanches.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported about the Giallorossi’s interest in the Portuguese midfielder, stating that PSG are yet to give the go-ahead for the initial loan deal and the option to buy. For them, Sanches is worth €20 million and Roma are now awaiting new contacts to make further progress in the deal.
PSG return from their tour in Japan next week and that is when new contacts are expected to take place. The clubs will try to find a compromise over an agreement, with Roma continuing to insist on the player’s signature.
Sanches is said to be the first choice midfield target for Tiago Pinto and Jose Mourinho, but an agreement is yet to be reached – even though the move is said to be close elsewhere in the Italian media.
