Bayern Munich could offer Harry Kane a lucrative five-year deal, according to Sport Bild.
The Tottenham Hotspur striker gave Bayern his word that he is willing to make the switch this summer. The 29-year-old won’t sign a contract extension with Spurs which will push sporting director Daniel Levy to cash in this window rather than letting him go for free in 2024.
It goes without saying that Bayern see Kane as their new main man, and his potential contract details emphasise this.
As per the report, Kane will be offered a four-to-five-year contract and will automatically become one of the club’s top earners netting over €20 per year. This is a similar figure to what Sadio Mané was offered when he made the switch from Liverpool last year.
This deal goes against normal Bayern practices, however. At Bayern, players over 30 often only get one-year deals. This was even the case when it came to Thomas Müller and Manuel Neuer. However, Bayern appear to be willing to make an exception for the England captain.
