According to Fabrizio Romano, Paris Saint-Germain are pushing to reach a deal for Lyon winger Bradley Barcola. PSG have been in contact with the French U21 international’s entourage and discussions have been described as positive.
The Lyon forward impressed at the U21 Euros for France, scoring 2 goals and assisting a further 2 goals in 4 appearances for Les Bleuets. This showing as a French youth international was a continuation of his impressive end to the season for OL. Lyon are reluctant to see the highly-rated Frenchman leave the club this summer. The inability to replace him, due to the DNCG transfer restrictions could make any deal difficult for PSG to complete. The Frenchman has also expressed his intentions to stay at the Groupama Stadium this summer.
Barcola isn’t short of suitors, with Liverpool also reportedly interested in a move for the versatile forward in the past. Following the departure of Moussa Dembélé on a free transfer, any potential move for Barcola would see OL looking extremely light in the forward department.
