Dutch media outlets De Telegraaf and Voetbal International claim RB Leipzig have emerged as suitors for Ajax midfielder Edson Alvarez, who could be brought in to replace Konrad Laimer.
RB Leipzig are looking into the possibility of bringing Edson Alvarez to Germany from Ajax, according to reports from the Netherlands.
De Telegraaf and Voetbal International report that ‘Die Roten Bullen’ are interested in the defensive midfielder.
Leipzig could bring in Alvarez to replace Konrad Laimer, who is being linked with Bayern München in particular.
An offer of €30 million should be enough to prize Alvarez away from the Dutch champions, who have already lost Ryan Gravenberch and Noussair Mazraoui to Bayern München this summer.
In addition, their top-scoring Sebastien Haller is said to be on the verge of a move to Borussia Dortmund.
