According to SPORT1, Bayern Munich are interested in Real Madrid’s Aurélien Tchouaméni.
Having lost out on Declan Rice to Arsenal, head coach Thomas Tuchel has identified Tchouaméni as the ideal ball-playing number six.
As per the report, the 23-year-old midfielder is concerned with the amount of playing time he’ll receive at Real this season, particularly with the upcoming Euros. A potential move to Bayern and regular playing time could tempt the youngster to the Bundesliga.
Tchouaméni has already contemplated a move to Bayern and has asked an unnamed French national team colleague about the club.
With the likes of Toni Kroos, Luka Modrić, and now Jude Bellingham, Tchouaméni is unlikely to get a starting 11 role. Last season, head coach Carlo Ancelotti opted for more experienced players and used the Frenchman from the bench throughout the season.
There’s certainly a lot to think about for Tchouaméni who seems open to moving in order to ensure he plays a part of next year’s Euros. What’s more, Thomas Tuchel previously wanted the youngster during his time at Chelsea.
If he wants regular football, Bayern seems like the ideal option right now.
