Napoli have now issued an ultimatum regarding a new deal to both Piotr Zielinski and Hirving Lozano.
Both the players have been linked with exits, with their contracts running out in the summer of 2024. There is a high likelihood that they will depart the club this summer.
La Gazzetta dello Sport state that Aurelio de Laurentiis has given the two players an ultimatum – they either have to sign a new deal or they would be out of the club’s squad and leave this summer. If they sign a new contract, they would have to reduce their salary to stay.
As of now, Zielinski is Napoli’s most expensive player when it comes to his wage demands. Lozano currently earns the same amount as Victor Osimhen but he isn’t an active contributor like Osimhen is.
Zielinski’s entourage is speaking to Al-Ahli and the player has opened up to the move but Napoli are yet to receive any offers for him. Lozano has also not received any offers, as he looks to stay in Europe.
