After a previous attempt was rejected, Inter have now made a new offer to sign Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku this summer.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that the Nerazzurri have put forward a bid of €30 million plus bonuses for the Belgian. Inter are hoping that it will be the right offer to sign the player permanently. They are relying on the promises made by the striker in their attempts to sign him.
Juventus could yet sell Dusan Vlahovic this summer and if the Serbian leaves, Lukaku will become a key target for them. Inter’s first offer was of €25 million and it was rejected by Chelsea, but Lukaku was handed exemption from returning to training with the Blues, as he is keen on a move to the San Siro. Chelsea want to make sure that his sale is completed before the 17th of July as that is when their pre-season starts.
