Westphalia’s Ruhr Nachrichten reports that Borussia Dortmund have officially decided against any further attempts to procure Spanish youth international Iván Fresneda Corraliza.
Various reports emerging over the past six months hinted that Bundesliga runners-up Borussia Dortmund were interested in investing some cash in young Spanish fullback Iván Fresneda Corraliza. On occasion, even appeared as if a deal was close at hand. According to a report appearing in today’s Ruhr Nachrichten newspaper, however, no such move will take place this summer.
Dortmund were always skeptical about forking over some €20 million for the emerging talent. The “RN” report now also notes that the teenager has opted to remain in his home country for the coming campaign. Separate rumors linking Real Valladolid defender with EPL sides such as Arsenal can thus also likely be shelved.
