Borussia Mönchengladbach have announced that they have completed the signing of winger Robin Hack from Arminia Bielefeld.
The 24 year old joins Gladbach for €1.1m after Bielefeld’s relegation to the 3.Liga, Hack also signs a contract at the club until 2027. On moving to Gladbach, Hack said: “I am extremely happy to be here. I can’t wait to run up in BORUSSIA-PARK and celebrate victories with the fans.”
Sporting director Roland Virkus commented on the 24 year old: “Robin Hack is a dynamic and goal-dangerous offensive player who already has a lot of first and second league experience. His personal development in recent years has been good and we still see a lot of potential in him. Therefore, we are pleased that he has chosen Borussia.”
Last season, Hack was one of the only standout players for Bielefeld as they suffered a second successive relegation. In 37 games the 24 year old scored 11 and assisted nine. Hack joined Bielefeld in 2021 from 1.FC Nürnberg for €1.2m and the winger played 30 games in the 21/22 Bundesliga season.
This is Gladbach’s four signing of the summer window. The club has already made Julian Weigl’s loan from Benfica permanent while also completing the signings of young players Lukas Ullrich (Hertha Berlin) and Grant Leon-Ranos (Bayern Munich). Gladbach are also set to complete the signing of Werder Bremen centre-back Fabio Chiarodia for €2m with a an announcement expected soon.
