Inter are now close to beating rivals Milan in the chase for French striker Marcus Thuram.
While it was recently reported that Milan’s offer for the striker was higher than what Inter were offering, it seems as if the player has decided to join the Nerazzurri.
FootMercato’s Santi Aouna seems confident that Thuram will join Inter, something which is echoed by other journalists too. Fabrizio Romano has reported that Thuram is more likely to pick Inter, with Alfredo Pedulla stating that Thuram has completely given in to the idea of joining the blue side of Milan.
There seemed to be confidence at Milan that they would sign Thuram, as Paris Saint-Germain seemed out of the running. But Inter entered the race late and it seems as a major plot twist has transpired, with Milan looking set to miss out on a key target despite being in the hunt for a long time.
