Germany will have to manage without Eintracht Frankfurt wide man Ansgar Knauff at the upcoming U21 European Championship.
As confirmed by the German Football Association (DFB), Knauff will miss the tournament after suffering a broken collarbone in yesterday’s friendly against Switzerland.
A decision on his replacement will be made soon, the DFB said.
The German team play their opening game against Israel on Thursday.
