Bar a sensational twist, Julian Nagelsmann won’t replace Christophe Galtier in the PSG dugout, according to a report from L’Equipe. The German coach and Paris Saint-Germain were in talks for weeks now over the managerial position. However, on Friday, both parties have decided to call off the move. Reports emerged those last few weeks that PSG were targetting Nagelsmann to lead Les Parisiens with Thierry Henry as his assistant coach. However, the Arsenal legend pulled out of the deal, while Nagelsmann’s previous assistant coach, Dino Toppmöller, has been appointed head coach of Eintracht Frankfurt.
The French daily reports that PSG are now in talks with a Plan B option who they expect to be able to announce as their new coach next week – this individual’s identity has yet to filter through
