Marcus Thuram to make decision on his future next week

L’Équipe report that AC Milan and PSG have made proposals to French international attacker Marcus Thuram, who will be a free agent at the end of the month when his current contract with Gladbach expires.

Thuram is interested in Les Parisiens’ proposal, but he has not made any decision on his future but is expected by the end of the ongoing international break.

Under the new leadership of Geoffrey Moncada, AC Milan have been pushing particularly aggressively for the 25-year-old attacker.

The French daily affirms that there are other teams, including a major side in Germany, who are also after the player. Sports Zone believe that this club is RB Leipzig, which is Marcus’ father’s favoured destination for his son. His father being World Cup winner Lilian Thuram.

The latter outlet claims that French national team team-mates of Thuram have been pushing for him to move to AC Milan: Théo Hernandez, Olivier Giroud and Mike Maignan are all mounting a charm offensive.

Sports Zone affirm that PSG are a hot topic of conversation amongst the French national team players at the moment, with the majority of opinions being rather negative. Thuram is personally understood to prefer the idea of moving to Paris.

A decision is imminent – we will know next week.
