Danish midfielder Jacob Steen Christensen has joined FC Köln on a three-year deal.

FC Köln have completed the signing of 21-year-old Jacob Steen Christensen from FC Nordsjælland.
The young defensive midfielder joins Köln on a free transfer after his contract expired.
He has signed a three-year contract with ‘The Billy Goats’.
“On the one hand, Jacob Christensen is a very young player, but on the other hand he has the experience of more than 150 professional matches. Not only because of that, but also because of his technical ability and his ability to dictate the build-up, we believe that he can make the step to the Bundesliga,” said FC Cologne managing director Christian Keller.
“First of all, Jacob will have to get used to the high intensity here. Our coaching staff will prepare him as well as possible.
Jacob Steen Christensen said:
“I am really looking forward to my time at 1. FC will be my first club outside of Denmark and I’m very excited about playing in the Bundesliga. I like the passionate football that Cologne play and I’m convinced that I can continue to develop here.
