Atlético Madrid are up and running in the transfer market with the arrivals of two central defenders, Caglar Söyüncü and Santiago Mouriño. The Turkish defender has signed a contract until 2027, while the Uruguayan will likely spend pre-season with the club before being sent out on loan.
There are more signings to come, as Diego Simeone is looking for reinforcements at left-back, right-back, and defensive-midfield. The Metropolitano outfit will say goodbye to Matt Doherty and Sergio Reguilón this summer as well as Geoffrey Kondogbia. AS claim that Atlético want to get around €5m for the midfielder.
There may be further departures down the line in the form of Joâo Félix and Yannick Carrasco. The Belgian has one more year left on his contract, but AS report that an agreement is in place with Barcelona if they agree to sign the 29-year-old wideman for €19m.
The Portuguese forward returns to Madrid after his loan contract expired at Chelsea.
