As reported by Sport Bild, former Bayern Munich head coach Julian Nagelsmann remains in pole position to become the next PSG manager.
The 35-year-old hasn’t been short of offers following his surprise dismissal from Bayern in March. In recent weeks, the German coach has been in talks with both Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur before deciding it wasn’t the right move.
Nagelsmann is now in talks with PSG and has spoken with the club’s representatives in a Parisian hotel last week. Citing L’Equipe, Sport Bild reports that Nagelsmann’s advisor Volker Struth met with PSG’s Luis Campos near the Place de la Concorde in the French capital.
What’s more, former French captain and World Cup winner Thierry Henry is being considered as Nagelsmann’s potential assistant coach. Most recently a coach with the Belgium national team,. Henry is said to have already discussed a possible collaboration with Nagelsmann in Paris.
