Mainz 05 are reportedly looking to offload Marcus Ingvartsen this summer, with Bild claiming that the 27-year-old striker is “for sale”.

Karim Onisiwo and Ludovic Ajorque are ahead of him in the pecking order, and at the same time Mainz want to give more playing time to young talents Nelson Weiper and Brajan Gruda.

However, Mainz have yet to receive any inquiries about the Danish striker, according to the report.

Ingvartsen found the net 12 times in 31 appearances for Mainz in all competitions in the 2022/23 season.

His contract expires in 2025.
