Nice-Matin are reporting that Paris Saint-Germain and Newcastle United are amongst the teams interested in OGC Nice centre-back Jean-Clair Todibo (23).
Todibo is one of two Nice players garnering a lot of attention. The other is close friend Khéphren Thuram (22), who is notably of interest to Liverpool. Nice’s asking price for Todibo is a point of contestation, with L’Équipe previously reporting that the player could be sold for as little as €30m, although Le Gym could be holding out for €10m more.
Competition would drive up the price, and competition is expected, according to Nice-Matin. AC Milan, Napoli, Newcastle and PSG are amongst the clubs interested in the France youth international. Todibo has enjoyed another strong season with Les AIglons and even earned his first France call-up, although he is still yet to make his international debut. The former Toulouse, Schalke, Barcelona and Benfica defender has a contract that runs until 2027.
