Eintracht Frankfurt will feature in the DFB Pokal final for the first time since 2018 when they play RB Leipzig at the Olympiastadion on Saturday night.
After winning the Europa League last season, Oliver Glasner will be hoping to leave the club with another trophy to his name. After a poor Bundesliga campaign, Eintracht are parting ways with the Austrian tactician at the end of the season.
Glasner is expected to revert to a back four should Sebastian Rode be fit. That would mean a double-pivot of Rode and Djibril Sow with Daichi Kamada playing an advanced role alongside Mario Götze, who signed a contract extension on Friday, and Jesper Lindstrøm.
Defensively, Philipp Max is expected to replace Christopher Lenz.
Randal Kolo Muani, who scored in Eintracht’s last Bundesliga game of the season, will again lead the attack. With 23 goals and 17 assists in 45 games across all competitions this season, SGE fans will be hoping the Frenchman can fire the club to another Pokal title.
Predicted Eintracht Frankfurt XI vs RB Leipzig
Kevin Trapp – Aurélio Buta, Tuta, Evan Ndicka, Philipp Max – Sebastian Rode, Djibril Sow – Jesper Lindstrøm, Daichi Kamada, Mario Götze – Randal Kolo Muani.
