Markus Krösche remains committed to Eintracht Frankfurt despite rumoured interest from Bayern Munich, according to SPORT1.
Bayern are in search of a new sporting director since dismissing Hasan Salihamidžić after winning the Bundesliga on the final day of the season. One of the names being mentioned is Frankfurt sporting director Krösche. Despite this, the 42-year-old doesn’t appear interested in moving clubs anytime soon.
As things stand, there has no been contact from Bayern with Krösche. What’s more, he’s contracted with Frankfurt until 2025 and has no exit clause. Krösche remains bust with The Eagles and is currently leading the club’s squad planning and search for a new coach.
Dino Toppmöller, whom Krösche knows from their Leipzig days, is said to be the preferred candidate for the Frankfurt job. Toppmöller has been the Bayern assistant manager since 2021. His last head coach role was in Luxembourg with R.E Virton in 2019.
