Hertha BSC look set for a shake-up after their relegation from the Bundesliga was confirmed over the weekend.
One of the players who could potentially leave is Maximilian Mittelstädt – not because Hertha want him to, but because the player has a low relegation release clause.
According to Kicker, Mittelstädt could leave the club this summer for as little as €800,000.
Werder Bremen, among others, have been linked with the 26-year-old left-back, who only signed a contract with Hertha until 2027 last winter.
