Rohr also cites his own sources to claim that Florian Niederlechner and Marton Dardai are prepared to remain with the club as they move to the second division next season.
In a separate article appearing on the magazine’s website, Rohr claims that all the club’s current players have contracts that remain valid for the 2. Bundesliga. While other Bundesliga sides are interested in courting the likes of Maximilian Mittelstädt and Jessic Ngankam, there are already some commitments from players happy to help the club out in the second division.
Rohr specifically cites the cases of striker Florian Niederlechner and Marton Dardai. Niederlechner seems to have no problem returning to the second flight, where he once enjoyed a successful season with Freiburg whilst on loan from Mainz. Dardai, the son of the club’s current trainer, also wishes to stay close to home despite previous interest from other sides.
