Liverpool are reportedly interested in Feyenoord midfielder Orkun Kokcu and his AZ Alkmaar counterpart Tijani Reijnders.
The Reds want to bolster their options in the middle of the park with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita and James Milner leaving when the season ends.
They are eyeing Brighton & Hove Albion star Alexis Mac Allister as an alternative to Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham, who is seemingly out of reach.
However, Liverpool are aware of the growing interest in the Argentine and are considering other options.
Kokcu is the top priority of the Eredivisie duo, with his heroics for Arne Slot’s side catching their attention.
The 22-year-old Turkey international has weighed in with eight goals and two assists in 30 league games this term.
Kokcu’s contributions helped Feyenoord win their first Eredivisie title since 2017.
The side’s captain has two years remaining on his deal, and the club could play hardball over selling him.
Manchester United have also been linked with interest in Kokcu, and Champions League football could play a role in his final decision.
Despite being a holding midfielder, the former Netherlands youth international has a keen eye for goal.
He bagged three goals and two assists in ten Europa League games this term, scoring once in three KNVB Cup appearances.
Kokcu was involved in 16 league goals last term, and his attacking input would come in handy if he joined Liverpool.
Reijnders is also creative in the attacking third, bagging four goals and seven assists in 39 games this term.
Reijnders was involved in eight league goals last term, but Liverpool will only pursue his services if they fail to land their top targets.
