Newcastle have set their sights on PSG forward Neymar, according to Spanish outlet Relevo.
The Premier League club have called the player’s entourage about a potential move to St James’ Park.
Neymar, who is reportedly unhappy in Paris after the way he has been treated by the fans, is seriously considering a move in the summer.
As of today, however, the Neymar-Newcastle deal is not at all advanced and an agreement would not be straightforward, especially because of the salary the Brazilian is asking for.
A move to Newcastle is not the one that he’s looking for, although the interest has been confirmed. However, the most feasible destination for Neymar, due to the fee and salary involved, is the Premier League.
Samu Chukwueze
Allan Saint-Maximin is set to leave Newcastle this summer, as per the same report. His replacement could be Villarreal forward Samu Chukwueze. In midfield, the Magpies would love to sign West Ham’s Declan Rice, but competition is fierce: Arsenal, Manchester City and Bayern Munich are all interested in the England international.
