Randal Kolo Muani has emerged as the top candidate in Bayern Munich’s search for a new number nine, according to Sport1.
Initial concerns about whether Muani would fit into Bayern’s system have apparently been put to rest after thorough analysis and observation.
According to the report, Bayern are convinced that Muani can play either as a lone striker or in a two-man attack with Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Serge Gnabry or Mathys Tel.
Muani has been linked with a number of other top European clubs, including Manchester United, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain, but is said to prefer a move to Bayern.
However, with Eintracht demanding more than 100 million for their prized asset, it’s unclear if the two Bundesliga clubs will be able to reach an agreement.
