According to RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins, France manager Didier Deschamps is set to announce the next Les Bleus squad on 31st May in the next round of Euro 2024 qualifying.
This will be the squad that will travel to Portugal to face Gibralter on 16th June, before then facing Greece at the Stade de France on the 19th.
Deschamps’ side currently top group B in qualifying, following a convincing 4-0 win against the Netherlands after edging out Ireland 1-0 at the Aviva Stadium at the end of March thanks to a long-range strike from Benjamin Pavard.
Les Bleus will be hoping that their 100% record continues following losing the final of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar to Argentina on penalties. They also hope that Kylian Mbappé’s reign as captain can equally continue in a similar fashion.
