Edson Alvarez, Gabri Veiga and Conor Gallagher have been named as possible replacements for Jude Bellingham at Borussia Dortmund.
Jude Bellingham looks almost certain to leave Borussia Dortmund this summer, with Real Madrid the clear favorites to land the midfielder in a transfer worth more than €100 million.
Therefore, it makes sense that Borussia Dortmund are looking for suitable candidates to replace the 19-year-old in the heart of the midfield.
One of them is Edson Alvarez. According to Sport Bild, the 25-year-old is being monitored by BVB, who would have to pay at least €40 million to persuade Ajax to sell him. Compared to Bellingham, Alvarez is a more defensive player who can also be used in central defense.
Sport Bild lists Celta Vigo’s Gabri Veiga as a more offensive alternative. The Spain U21 international has a release clause of €40 million.
Additionally, Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher has also been linked with Dortmund in recent weeks, with Sky Germany estimating the 23-year-old to cost around €50 million.
