Thomas Müller is to consider a move away from Bayern Munich should his position within the club not change, Bild reports.
The 33-year-old has long been synonymous with Bayern. He’s won the lot with the club and is known as the media poster child for all things Bayern. However, Müller is currently number two in Thomas Tuchel’s eyes and has to make do with late appearances off the bench.
In addition to his lack of playing time, it’s reported that Müller misses having the application within the club that he once had. After everything he’s achieved with club and country, he doesn’t believe he has to prove himself to yet another manager.
Should his situation not change, Müller will consider playing his football elsewhere. The forward wants to play professional football until at least 2024. As of yet, the veteran hasn’t held talks with any other club. However, there is interest from the USA as well as Saudi Arabia. Additionally, a move within the Bundesliga isn’t considered off the table. This is because Müller is said to be more interested in trying to win another league title within one of Europe’s top leagues. Should he decide to play his football elsewhere, he will be missed greatly in all areas of the club.
