Former Bayern Munich assistant coach Dino Toppmöller has been named as the top candidate to replace Oliver Glasner as Eintracht Frankfurt coach this summer.

With Oliver Glasner’s future as Eintracht Frankfurt coach in doubt, the search for a replacement has reportedly begun.
According to Bild, the top candidate is Dino Toppmöller, who was an assistant at Bayern Munich under Julian Nagelsmann until March.
RB Salzburg coach Matthias Jaissle has also been linked with the Frankfurt job. Eintracht’s board member for sport, Markus Krösche, spoke about these rumors in April, telling Kicker:
“I meet with ten or twelve different coaches every year. Among them are youth coaches and coaches from abroad. I have to know the market, that’s my job.”
Glasner’s job has been called into question for some time, and his red card in Saturday’s 3-1 defeat to Hoffenheim and subsequent outburst at the post-match press conference only added to the speculation.
