VfL Wolfsburg coach Niko Kovac said his team played without “conviction” and “bite” in Sunday’s 6-0 loss to Borussia Dortmund.

VfL Wolfsburg was blown out of the park on Sunday, losing 6-0 away to Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.
Speaking after the game, Wolfsburg coach Niko Kovac admitted that his team deserved to lose by such a large margin.
“That was exactly what we didn’t want to do today. We played without conviction in our challenges and without bite, so we didn’t stand a chance,” Kovac said.
“The 6-0 defeat was exactly what we deserved. My team will have to show their true colors in the coming weeks.”
Kovac’s men face Hoffenheim this weekend.
