Eintracht Frankfurt have agreed personal terms with Bayer Leverkusen forward Lucas Alario, per a report from Kicker.
However, the transfer fee currently appears to be a stumbling block, with Leverkusen demanding that Frankfurt activate the striker’s €6.5 million release clause if they want to sign him.
The pressure is mostly on Frankfurt, with clubs from Italy and Spain also said to be monitoring Alario’s situation.
Bild recently reported that Alario’s agent, Pedro Aldave, would fly to Germany to discuss his client’s future this weekend.
