England’s magpies have reportedly kept up quite the scouting presence when it comes to two RB Leipzig performers over the course of the season. Sky Germany’s Philipp Hinze reports that Newcastle United maintain a strong interest in acquiring both Dominik Szoboszlai and Amadou Haidara during the coming summer transfer window.

Both players are still tied down to long-term deals. Haidara (estimated to be worth some €17 million) remains under contract through 2025 while Szoboszlai (a €40 million rising talent) has a deal good through 2026. Szoboszlai is rumored to have an outlet via a €70 million exit clause. Hinze reports that scouts from the EPL club have been in regular attendance both at home and away RB fixtures.
