Luke: 189
Game of the week: Paris Saint-Germain v FC Lorient, Sunday 16:05 (UK)
Luke: The Coupe de France final between Toulouse and Nantes takes top billing this weekend, but they are both involved in Ligue 1 matches with big implications both at the top and the bottom of the table. The mental and physical state for both sides is hard to predict, and in many ways likely to hinge on Saturday’s result. Nantes will have to quickly re-engage as they travel to Brest, a relegation rival on Tuesday. Toulouse meanwhile, face Lens, who could further tighten their grip on the Champions League qualification place.
Elsewhere, Strasbourg will be looking to grow the gap to the relegation places. Les Alscaiens are currently in 15th, but only ahead of Brest, who occupy the final relegation place, on goal difference. Lyon are still an outside shout to earn a European qualification spot. PSG could, and should, tighten their grip on the title when they face Lorient, who no longer have anything to play for.
