Niclas Füllkrug took part in Werder’s final training session ahead of Saturday’s game against Hertha BSC and is expected to return to action tomorrow.

Niclas Füllkrug looks set to return from the injury that kept him out of last week’s 2-1 loss to Freiburg when Werder Bremen take on Hertha BSC in the Bundesliga tomorrow.
The star striker was able to take part in Werder’s final training session today ahead of tomorrow’s match. Amos Pieper and Milos Veljkovic were also fit enough to feature.
Werder coach Ole Werner said at yesterday’s press conference that he’s a bit cautious about the trio’s involvement this weekend, as they’ve been struggling with knocks.
However, given their participation in today’s training session, they are all expected to be part of the squad to face Hertha.
