Bayern Munich striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (34) resumed team training on Monday ahead of the Rekordmeister’s Champions League clash against Manchester City on Wednesday night.
The Cameroonian has missed Bayern Munich’s last three games with a knee injury but was pictured on Monday doing ball work at Bayern’s Säbener Straße HQ. According to Kicker, it’s unclear as to whether Choupo-Moting will start against Manchester City, but he remains an option.
Choupo-Moting has been a key player for Bayern Munich following the departure of Robert Lewandowski with 21 goal contributions (17 goals, 4 assists) in 28 games across all competitions.
There will also likely be a place on the bench for Mathys Tel (17) who was an unused substitute against Manchester City in the first-leg but featured off the bench against Hoffenheim on Saturday afternoon following a recent muscular injury.
Dayot Upamecano and Alphonso Davies both worked indoors due to workload management.
