Marco Verratti will be absent from Paris Saint-Germain’s trip to face OGC Nice on Saturday. The Italian midfielder is suffering from a hamstring injury.
Verratti joins Juan Bernat, Presnel Kimpembe, Nordi Mukiele and Neymar on the sidelines. Les Parisiens are in need of a victory after RC Lens closed their lead at the top of Ligue 1 to just three points. However, they come up against a robust Nice side, who are yet to lose under Didier Digard, who replaced Lucien Favre in January.
For the first time since leaving Nice to join PSG in the summer, Christophe Galtier will return to the Allianz Riviera. The Frenchman is expected to deploy a 3-5-2, with Kylian Mbappé and Lionel Messi up front. Vitinha, Renato Sanches and Fabián Ruiz are expected to start in the midfield in the absence of Verratti.
